NEW VIDEO: Ben Seidman Shows off Pickpocketing Skills

Ben Seidman is an amazing magician that has underrated technical ability that ranks up there with the best of our class. Recently, he sat down with WIRED to show them nine different levels of pickpocketing with increasing difficulty. Ben was able to pull off each steal on unsuspecting marks that all culminated in the steal of a necktie. A variety of terms are taught to us while he is casually stealing phones and wallets from both the mark and the crew members. The prowess to complete each move is perfectly balanced by his ability to throw off the mark with his laid back persona.

This is not the first time Ben has shown an array of tricks online. About a year ago Vanity Fair did a piece with him where he reviewed magic in movies and television shows. In this 24-minute video he showed off some of the classics of magic with a little bit of pickpocketing thrown in there. The crew members laughed with delight behind the camera as Ben pulled off each miracle. Everything in Ben’s hands looks easy but there are decades of work behind each watch steal.
